Swanson Electrical Services Inc (SESI) has been in business for 20 years. Jeff Swanson, Owner & President, is a graduate of Grant High School, class of 1986. Jeff worked as an apprentice electrician from 1986 - 1990. In 1990 he tested for and acquired his State of Michigan Journeyman Electrical License. In 1993 he tested for and acquired his State of Michigan Master Electrical License and Electrical Contractor License. In 1998 Jeff opened the doors of Swanson Electric.
In 2006 Swanson Electric incorporated and became Swanson Electrical Services Inc.
SESI has completed many projects including: Self Check Out installation for the Meijer store chain, multiple Meijer department upgrades and improvements, additions/upgrades and improvements for MC Sports, Goodwill Industries, Metro Health, St. Mary's Hospital, Gerber Foods, Verizon Wireless, Coca Cola Corporation, Fox Motors, IHG National Hotel chain, Spectrum Health, West Michigan Surgical Specialists, and among many others.
SESI has also designed and installed over 1 megawatt of Solar Photovoltaic Systems including: Padnos Recycling, Roskam Bakery, Cascade Engineering, Michigan DOT, and MOCAP.
Also, SESI has a complete Service Dept with capabilities from basic residential service calls to commercial / industrial maintenance and service contracts.
The team at SESI consists of 18 Electricians, 2 Project Managers, 1 Office Manager, and 1 Accountant.
